Preparation Requirements

I realize how busy pastors are. As a result, you will find that all of the advance materials which we send are prepared to be both self-explanatory and easy to follow. For the reason that you know your congregation better than anyone, I suggest that you be the one to formulate the committees and subsequently give guidance to the committees. I would very much appreciate your sending me the name, address, and telephone number of each committee’s chairperson so that I may be in contact with them personally. Keeping a constant reminder and prompting the involvement of your congregation is of the utmost importance.

Financial Requirements

Our Board of Directors stipulates that we request the following:

1.	Mileage – This should be figured at the government rate per mile. This currently stands at 55 cents per mile. Please figure in round trip mileage.
2.	Motel Lodging - *A Non-Smoking Room, something in the range of Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn. The newer ones normally have a good desk and office chair with an internet connection. Please understand that I perform ministry work and business when I am with you. I am willing to drive 15 miles in order to get a room with these features. No homes please.*
3.	Meals - Please allow for a variety of places to eat. You are welcome to take me or I can give meal ticket receipts to your treasurer. Another method some churches have utilized is to give me a food allowance of approximately $25 to $30 per day. I am happy to eat with classes or groups and go to homes to eat.
4.	Love Offering - I never make the appeal myself, and there is no set amount that I require. A love offering taken each evening is preferred over an honorarium. Please make it low key, with no pressure. Advise your congregation all monies go to support the ministry God has called me to. (Note: The ministry expects to receive the complete revival offering, with none being kept in-house.)
5.	Payment - Please have your treasurer have our check ready before we leave on the last night of the revival. I will submit a statement for mileage and meals on the last night. (Note: This should come from your regular budget, not the love offering.)
6.	Music Evangelist – If one does come with me the same request is made and the offering is divided equally.
